Fine Arts Club

TDC’s Fine Arts Club is a two-hour pre-school program that focuses on a child's growth in creativity, social skills, school readiness, and self-assurance. Our program offers a dynamic and fun-filled learning experience designed to cultivate these skills in preschoolers.

The Fine Arts Club is open to two age brackets with different class schedules:

Little Movers

For kids aged 3 (by the program start date) to 4

Class schedule:
Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:15am-11:15am

Kinder Movers

For kids aged 4 (by the program start date) to 5

Class schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 12:15nn-2:15pm

Mission

Our goal at TDC is to enhance the overall development of each child in fine and gross motor skills, and social, cognitive, and emotional awareness through dance, yoga, fitness, art, drama, and music

What We Offer:

Dance, Yoga, and Fitness

Through movement and play, children will learn coordination, balance, and the joy of staying active. Our dance, yoga, and fitness sessions promote physical development while allowing kids to express themselves freely.

Music

From rhythmic beats to melodic tunes, our music sessions introduce children to the world of sounds and melodies. They’ll have the chance to explore various instruments and learn to appreciate the magic of music.

Art

Unleash your child’s creativity with our art sessions. Painting, drawing, and crafting activities nurture artistic expression and fine motor skills, giving kids the tools to turn their imagination into vibrant creations.

Drama and Imagination

Through role-playing, storytelling, and dramatic play, children will develop their communication skills and explore various emotions. Our drama sessions boost confidence and encourage self-expression.

Program Sessions

Our program runs in three 12-week sessions, from September to June. You have the flexibility to register for one session or take advantage of the full experience by enrolling in all three sessions.

Special Events

At the last class of each session, we host a special demonstration to showcase the incredible progress and creative achievements of all participants throughout the session. This serves as a wonderful opportunity for children to share their newfound talents with family and friends, while also building confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

What our Dance Family has to Say

At first, I enrolled my daughter, Cassandra into the Fine Arts Program so that she could grow her social skills and have fun, structured play with other kids her age. Well, needless to say, after she had been in the program for a couple weeks, I was blown away by the program and how hands on it is. When she goes into class, there’s always different activities and toys all laid out nicely that help her motor skills. Miss Lauren really takes the time to get to know your child and is so attentive to their needs and wants. She truly is a child whisperer. My daughter loved her from the start! Cassandra loves craft time and story time. At home now, she always wants to draw or paint. Even if the TV is on, she’ll run and grab some paper and draw. And when I read to her at the end of the night, she’ll take the book and pretend to read to me like she’s Miss Lauren. It’s adorable. I’ve noticed a definite increase in her creativity, language skills and social skills. She also loves to help me clean around the house and I swear it’s because of the club. The Fine Arts Club is an absolutely enriching environment with unwavering dedication from Miss Lauren to help the kids thrive in all areas of life. We love it!
