Performance Program

TDC’s Performance Program is for dancers aged 6-years and older, and encompasses regular, weekly, 1-hour classes working towards technique, performance quality, and fun. These classes perform in our Year-End Recital and optional community events

Acro

Acrobatic Dance, or Acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
For our dancers’ safety, TDC has 4 certified and experienced instructors that work with the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus.

Ballet

As the foundation of technique for many dance forms, Ballet allows students to develop discipline, body alignment, posture, core strength, coordination, and flexibility.
Our TDC instructors follow the internationally recognized Royal Academy of Dance syllabus (R.A.D.) and Progressive Ballet Technique syllabus to complement and enhance ballet strength and technique.

HipHop

Our HipHop classes are a dynamic and high-energy style of dance focused on teaching the foundational movements, techniques, and styles associated with Hip Hop dance. In this class, students explore various elements of Hip Hop culture, including Popping, Locking, Party Dances, Breaking, and Freestyle. Hip Hop classes encourage creativity and confidence, offering dancers the opportunity to develop their unique style while working on coordination, agility, and stamina.

Jazz

Jazz is a very energetic dance form that includes jumps, turns, kicks and floor work. Jazz takes into account elements from Tap, Ballet, Jazz music, and African-American rhythms and dance, all of which come from similar roots. Body coordination, core strength, Ballet training and flexibility are key elements for success in this genre.

TDC offers ADAPT Jazz and urban Jazz training.

ADAPT stands for “Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers”. ADAPT teachers work professionally to maintain the highest standard of dance training excellence the country has to offer. These dance teachers are leaders in quality dance training. They teach the love of dance and movement not only to the elite student, but to the recreational dancer as well.

TDC has been great for our first year! From the beginning of the season until the end, the studio is run so efficiently. Taryn is very organized and communicates to parents very effectively. Everything is so well laid out, including what the costs will be from start to finish. Highly recommend this studio!

Dance Parent

This was our first year with TDC in the Petite and Beginner Ballet programs. My girls really enjoyed their time here and we will be returning next year. All the staff and teachers are all really amazing and lovely to work with. They've been very accommodating and supportive throughout everything. All my many questions as a first time dance mom were answered quickly via email, or when I had come into the studio, everyone was very knowledgeable. I was really impressed with the year end recital and watching all the performances, I can't imagine the amount of work that went into such a huge show, not only did my daughters have a great time performing, I had a great time watching everyone show off their impressive skills. We highly recommend TDC.
