Dress Code

Hair

• All ballet classes require a proper and neat bun. No bun = no ballet!
• For all other dance classes students must have hair in a french braid or ponytail (if possible) or pulled back neatly and securely off the face.
• TDC will not supply your child with clips, pins or elastics!
• Parents, please make sure your child’s hair is properly fixed PRIOR to class!
• If you have any questions about our hair requirements or would like instruction on how to create a proper bun for ballet we would be happy to assist you.

Intellidance

Intellidance Babies, Intellidance Tykes, Intellidance Tots, & Intellidance Kids

• Comfortable and movable athletic wear for both parent and student. For example, leggings and a sports tank top would be acceptable

Ballet

Teeny/Tiny Ballet, Petite Ballet, & Future Stars Ballet

• SD 16 Light Pink Ballet Shoes (Bloch Bunny Hops – if a smaller shoe is needed)
• Mondor 1635 PINK bodysuit

• Optional pull on pink skirt

Hip Hop – All Levels

• Fitted, athletic-style clothing or stretchable dance wear
• Footwear:
  In Class: clean, indoor-only running shoes
  On Stage: black & white low rise VANS or similar shoe . NO OUTDOOR SHOES
• Hair pulled back neatly in a ponytail, bun or french braid
• Hats allowed (as long as they don’t cover the face)
• No loose jewelry

Boys Attire

• For all forms of dance, solid color T-shirt (not too baggy)
• Leggings or fitted sweatpants
• Ballet requires black Ballet slippers
• For Jazz or Pop, black slip on Jazz shoes
• For Tap, black Tap shoes
